Seed Rakhi is an organically hand-made Panchgavya ( 5 elements of nature) rakhi, crafted by rural women to be tied as a token of love, respect, and affection on the Indian festival Raksha Bandhan, honoring the beautiful brother-sister bond. A pledge to take an eco-friendly route to celebrate the grand festivities in India and the world we carry forward the age-old tradition and at the same time conserve the environment led to the creation of India’s first truly best-out-of-waste, organic Rakhi with compost seed balls. Projected in 2021, this green initiative of making Panchgavya Rakhis works on the issue of minimizing the non-biodegradable remains of plastic-made rakhis and replacing them with rakhis made of biodegradable material along with seeds of indigenous plants. - making celebration of festivals Sustainable
